100 mile foodie would like to introduce delicious tasting plant food whilst educating children on the joys of growing your own healthy food.
In 100% hands on classes children 4-8 & 6-11 years will learn the joys of organic gardening and the health benefits of fresh, seasonal fruit, vegetables & herbs.
Dishes cooked reflect the vegetables, herbs and fruits grown in the 100 mile foodie kitchen-garden, where possible, or sourced locally from sustainable & ethically farmed suppliers.
100 mile foodie will emphasise balance and moderation, and endorse the concept of preparing fruit-based desserts ‘sometimes-only’.
The lunch menu will be based around what is harvested on the day from the garden.
