Hi, I’m Olivia. The mum behind ‘Jolly Joeys’. My labour of love.
Jolly Joeys is a music program for children from babies to 5 years, designed to help them shine.
Soon after my son was born, I became fascinated with the field of Early Childhood Development. Having a background in music, singing, entertaining (with both children & adults) and dance fitness instructing (Sh’Bam and Zumba), I quickly gravitated toward music education for children. I gained experience working in the area for other providers and I trained in the Orff Shulwerk Approach.
Classes are in line with Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and suitable for Early Learning Centres, Kindergartens as well as parent & child classes.
I genuinely love each child and marvel and cheer at his or her development and achievements. I take care to speak to each child, using his or her name, and acknowledging each one individually.
The children sometimes start off shy, but pretty soon they gain confidence and happily participate and interact with others.
Children learn musical concepts, singing skills, literacy, numeracy, social skills, general knowledge and more. I also ensure that I include activities that get kids doing moves that “cross the midlines”, which is well known as being important for mental and motor development.
Beat and rhythm activities

What Others Say …
Jolly Joeys has been awesome for Amelia. She has so much fun each week and has learnt so much! Olivia is a fantastic teacher who makes everyone feel welcome and included. I would definitely recommend Jolly Joey to parents 🙂 _Jess Fischmann
Jolly Joeys is so much fun for kids of any age. The singing, dancing, instrument playing, fun and energy that Olivia brings to the class is amazing. There are so many facets of learning that happen in each class you don’t realise as the kids are just having so much fun. _Andrea Kemp
One week we had to reschedule Olivia’s music session to another day, later in the week. All the kids were asking, ‘Where’s Olivia?’. They missed her. _Child Care Centre Director (classes held for Toddlers, Prekinders and Kinders)
