We recently tried out Eccoqui in the Frankston Entertainment Complex with our two girls aged 1 and 2.
It was quite early for lunch on a Sunday, so we had the restaurant to ourselves. It was nice to have some space to spread out and not worry too much about noise and flying food while we teach them about restaurant manners!
We tried the a la cart menu for two people. It’s essentially a series of platters to share – everything from a starter platter to a pasta platter, a meat platter, fish and chips, pizza and chicken strips. The girls loved the ice cream and jelly from the desert platter. We were very happy that it came with two ice creams!
They have high chairs but no booster seats for older children. The high chair was in a reasonable state of cleanliness.
Because the girls are so young, there was no charge for them (yay!) It was still far too much food for the 4 of us and it felt a bit wasteful when we just couldn’t eat anymore. Next time we will need to go with emptier bellies. Good value for a family meal for $40 plus drinks.
