Care for the Rare When a plant becomes extinct, its ecosystem shudders. How will the birds that feasted on its fruit fill their bellies? Or marsupials find pathways to shelter? On this guided tour, uncover the rare and threatened plants nurtured in the Gardens and the pressures they face in the wild. See beautiful plants splashing colour across the Future Garden and up to Howson Hill, the curiosities growing in the Weird and Wonderful Garden and the rare greenery in the Gondwana beds. Whether magnificent and big or ugly and small, all plants are important to our planet. Come along and find out how you can help them survive.
