Hot Arts for Cool Kids at Home!

We may not be able to have Hot Arts for Cool Kids at the FAC these school holidays, but we would love you to create with free Hot Arts at Home online activities!

Make a moving, dancing split-pin puppet with artist Clare James by watching our Split-Pin Puppet Making Workshop.

Clare will show you how to plan, draw, cut out and construct a beautiful split-pin puppet to use wherever you are these school holidays. Clare James is an artist who works with paper, watercolour, clay and many other mediums. Join us for this special online art workshop created for the FAC, where you can construct and make your very own Split-Pin Puppet!

If you love to draw, we want you to be a part of creating a community colouring book by making your own page to add to our Hot Arts for Cool Kids Colouring Book for everyone to enjoy.

All you have to do is make a colouring page and send it to us by Sunday 12 July so that we can include it as part of our Colouring Book OR just print out and use the FREE Hot Arts for Cool Kids Colouring Book and get creative these holidays!

Here’s how to make your own colouring page to add to the Hot Arts for Cool Kids Colouring Book:

Do an outline of a drawing in black texta onto a white A4 sized piece of paper. Once you have finished your amazing colouring page, scan it and send it to: cube37@frankston.vic.gov.au Or post it to: Frankston Arts Centre, PO Box 490 Frankston VIC 3199

Go to thefac.com.au to watch the Split-Pin Puppet Making Workshop online and download your Hot Arts for Cool Kids Colouring Book from 27 June!

Be a part of the FAC creative kids’ community and tag and share your work at – #FACCREATIVEKIDS
