Horses, learning and FUN on the Mornington Peninsula!

The highly popular Horseback School Holiday Program is offered to children aged from 4 to 16. This is a fantastic opportunity for children wanting to learn about horses, ride horses and have a fun day out with like-minded friends.

Horseback offers half and full day programs which include:

Team Wombat
A half day program for children aged 4 – 8 years old, designed especially for the tiny tackers.

Team Koala
A full day program for children aged 5 – 12 years old, designed for beginner riders, who will enjoy getting to know their new four legged friends through theory and riding lessons.

Team Kangaroo
A full day program for children aged 8 – 14 years old for intermediate riders, is a natural follow on from Team Koala.

Team Dingo
A full day program for children aged 10 – 16 years old for experienced riders, including both dressage and show jumping lessons.

The Horseback School Holiday program is divided between riding indoor and outdoor time, trail riding and theory on the care and management of horses.

Horseback and their well-trained horses will help teach your child to learn balance on a horse and the essential aids to grow their riding skills and enhance their confidence.

Children will enjoy learning the basics of horse care, stable management with hands-on experience, including but not limited to, grooming, tacking, washing, feeding, rugging and more.

Children can enjoy creating a special bond with their four legged partner, allowing them to gain a new friend.

All levels of riders are welcome to join the Horseback School Holiday Program, which is open over the summer school holidays.
