Kryal Castle

Dragons by twilight at Kryal Castle this summer holidays

Picture this… you’re with your family making the most of a warm summer’s evening – immersed in a magical world of make believe. The kids are captivated by a show of moving dragons and world class knights jousting on war horses – as you sip on a glass of wine and all enjoy wood fired pizzas together.

For the first time ever, the legendary Kryal Castle is opening its doors later in the day over the warmer months (2-8pm, from 26th December – 26th January) so you can enjoy a memorable family experience at twilight. The Castle always brims with boundless opportunities to spark your kids’ imaginations and this summer is no exception – yes, dragons are coming! Get up close with a team of dragonologists and explorers who have found the long resting Dragons of the Mountain.

“We want families to have the opportunity to savour the best part of a summer’s day together whilst enjoying fantastical dragon-themed performances,” says Phillip Leitch, the Castle’s jousting world champion.

“We’re opening our doors later so they can share a meal and the unforgettable experience of life inside a real-life castle – during those special hours of twilight.

“Not surprisingly, we find adults enjoy the magic of the Castle just as much as the kids. And, one thing’s for certain, there’s always a new activity you’re yet to do at the Castle.”

The Castle’s labyrinth offers endless fun for kids to get lost and then find their way. The enchantment continues learning the ancient art of archery, jumping in the sun on our Giant Inflatable Castle and creating concoctions at the wizard’s workshop. These are just some of the unique activities on offer to your family during twilight this summer at the Castle.
