Member Review – Lilo Cafe, Mornington

1/725 The Esplanade, Mornington

A busy little cafe, but with a great vibe. Wooden furniture and floorboards make it feel fresh and homey. The fact that it’s away from the hustle and bustle of Main Street makes it a great little escape for the locals, a hidden gem in the heart of Mornington.

What others are saying

Super helpful staff who will make sure you are set up and comfortable when dining with babies and toddlers. Exceptional service with a comfortable and laid back atmosphere. Food is always great, as well as a seasonal menu – the daily specials always offer something exceptional.

Plenty of high chairs available for groups of mums on an outing! The staff are fantastic and always so helpful with the kids. The change table facility is in the female toilet which is quite large and plenty of space for little one to move around while mum freshens up too. Pram access is more in the outdoor seating area, but plenty of pram parking space by the front door, if you want to sit inside.
There is a kids menu, but there is always plenty on my plate to share with my 18mth old. Staff are fine if you take baby lunch in too, and have been happy to heat up our puréed foods or milk. Friendly, fun & quirky. You are never left waiting long before your order is taken and delivered to the table. The food is always so fresh and delicious, with generous portion sizes.
