It is easy to see why Frankston is emerging as one of Greater Melbourne’s must-see street art destinations. The city centre has been truly transformed into an eclectic mix of art, culture, retail and cuisine, and the creative energy in the city is gaining momentum.

For the past 5 years, Frankston has been host to the The Big Picture Fest, transforming the buildings and laneways into an epic display of colour, creativity and movement. The city is now home to more than 40 artworks from local and international artists.

If you haven’t discovered Frankston’s street art scene, a walking tour is the perfect way to start.  Lead by local guides, the tours reveal the inside story on the artists’ ideas and inspirations for their artworks. Whether that be reflections on moments in history, childhood memories or messages for future generations. It’s a great way to experience this epic outdoor gallery.

The walking tours run for 90 minutes, are taken at a comfortable walking pace so children can enjoy it too. There is also a coffee & hot chocolate stop along the way. Tours run most weekends, both during the day and at twilight.

Frankston Street Art Walking Tours

Cost: $15 per person
Duration: 90 minutes

I’d been toying with wanting a tattoo to commemorate the relationship I held with my godfather since his passing.
From my very start we were kindred spirits - the wild ones, the hey ho, we won’t go when/wherever we’re supposed to, the loving, giving, sharing, caring out loud ones - mixed with very strong wills.
We did what we wanted, though it may have shaved a few years off our parents lives (sorry about the ditching school, mom), but if you asked us for something - a favour, a ride, a buck - we were there in a flash.
We are the (self proclaimed) black sheep.
Part of the pack, but a little different.
So this one is for you, Uncle Walt! I know you’re watching.
With me forever. ❤️⚫️🐑

  • 💦 Been to @waterbombali ?!?!
What a mostly awesome day!

I had just been talking with daughter, swinging our clasped hands as we walked from one slide to another, and saying, y’know, when you’re my age you probably won’t remember this family vacation at all.

Then she got stuck in a tube slide..her lanky body not having the mass to go back up, she instead slid back and forth like the pendulum pirate ship rides until coming to a stop and having to climb her way out on her own.
🥴
So I’m assuming that 4 seconds will be etched for all of eternity instead of the jet skiing, cabanas, parasailing, swimming, or anything else magical.
🤦🏻‍♀️
Today calls for a chillax day. Nothing heavy. One she’ll forget.
😂☀️🪂🍹❤️🛝💦😬

We ❤️ you! We soooo needed this!
The pool area is BEYOND and brimming with lounge chairs, cabanas for rent, and yummy drinks from the swim up bar, Love Shack or Love Shack junior.
We’ll have two Kit Kat dolls, please!😁😁
It’s not too busy here in Kuta, yet!

A very much needed break for our fam, we are all counting down the minutes. And it’s not just because of the weather around here lately!
Hit me up with all your must do’s! We’re staying at @hardrockbali in Kuta. Gotta start somewhere! 🗺

  • WORRY.
Are they going to be ok? Am I doing a good enough job? I wish they’d talk to me more. Why aren’t they talking to me more? What are they thinking? Who are they talking to, if not me? I hope they know they can. And I’ve got their backs. And I’m always here. Worrying.
