There are a few things I want to say about this pic from last night’s vote count and presentation evening at @morningtonjfc
🔵
1. Coaches award for my girl. She fits a LOT into her schedule. The night before, we were at the grand music showcase for her school where she is part of three ensembles 🎺 She takes on a medley of extra curricular activities, giving each of them her all without sacrificing her studies.

2. This team. We feel hashtag blessed to be a part of this U16 team. Under the guidance of amazing coaching staff (super coach, runner, trainer, parent helpers, teammates), she has been given the opportunity to grow and gain confidence. It shows. As manager of this team I am soooo lucky my role is supported by so many. Bring on 2025!

Today is international dog day - our first one in nearly 18 years without a dog in the house.
Our beloved Frankie crossed the rainbow bridge back in June and I haven’t been able to bring myself to post about it here.
If you come past our place be sure to grab a treat in Frankie’s honour. I think he’d love that. :) 🐾
It brings a smile to our faces when we see people stopped to give their pets a pat on the head and a nod to Frankie. I’ve had so many beautiful conversations with neighbours about their pooches and loss and love…it never goes away. 🥰

🍌When those bananas go brown..
My go to lunchbox slice improvised with whatever I feel like.
3 bananas mashed
1C almond meal
1 1/2C rolled oats
THEN: (opens cupboard and looks around)
1/2C dried cranberries
1/2C white chocolate chips
1/3C cacao powder
Into a lined slice pan - oven 180 for a half hour.
👌🙌
