How to host a Medieval Party for your Kids

1. Book your entertainment for the day; Waggle Dance, who will train your knights and fair maidens in the art of medieval sword fighting.
2. Source or make a medieval outfit for your young squire or damsel. There are plenty available to buy on eBay if you get stuck.
3. Buy or make medieval inspired decorations such as; coat of arms buntings, DIY goblets (spray paint plastic cups gold and decorate with jewels from the craft shop), lanterns, and a faux candle chandelier if you are an adventurous crafter.
4. Prepare a cake or arrange to have one made; ideas include a shield, dragon, castle or a crown.
5. Download some instrumental themed music from the middle ages for your iPod or music device.
6. Make a simple medieval kids banquet; baskets of bread, apples, grapes, corn on the cob, sausages or meat balls.
7. Source party bags and fill with gold coins, lolly frogs, sour lizards and temporary knight medieval tattoos.
