Discover the colourful art of Orizome at MPRG with artist Jacky Cheng from Yawuru Country, Broome.
Using simple paper-folding and dyeing techniques, create striking geometric patterns and unique artworks as colour flows through each fold. Suitable for all ages and skill levels, this free drop-in workshop encourages creativity, experimentation and mindful making.
Participants will take home a collection of vibrant Orizome papers and learn about this traditional Japanese art form. No experience required.
Drop in anytime between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
Children under 8 may require adult assistance.
This is a FREE event, however please register your attendance so we know to expect you.
