Community Kids Mornington provides long day care and kindergarten programs for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, within a calm and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable, secure and genuinely at ease each day.
Recently upgraded indoor and outdoor environments have been thoughtfully designed to support both learning and wellbeing. From cosy reading corners and quiet spaces to open-ended outdoor areas that encourage exploration and movement, each space creates a balance between comfort and inspiration, helping children feel familiar, confident and ready to engage.
Guided by Centre Manager Joanne and a long-standing team of educators, the centre is shaped by a deep understanding of what families are looking for, a place where children feel safe, supported and able to grow. As Joanne shares, “As both an educator and a parent, I understand how important it is to find the right fit for your family.”
Programs are play-based and aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework, tailored to each child’s individual interests and stage of development. This supports language, literacy, numeracy, creativity and social-emotional growth in a way that feels engaging and meaningful.
Enriching experiences are embedded into the daily program, including cooking, community engagement and the Rhythm and Resilience (RAMSR) program, which supports self-regulation, confidence and overall wellbeing.
Strong relationships sit at the heart of the centre. Educators take the time to get to know each child and work closely with families, supported by regular communication and updates through the Xplor app.
