Tonight we were invited to check out Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience and WOW, WOW, WOW.
🪄
Fun for Potterheads of all ages (yes, I am one), we walked the magically lit paths and got up close to some of our favourite scenes and familiar friends from the movies/books.
🍻
We sipped butter beer (parents ones with a shot of ‘magic’, nibbled HP themed cookies and golden snitch cake pops, summoned our patronus’ and woke a sleeping giant!

The paths were well lit, with always something to look at. Even the teenagers were happy!

From April 6th, tickets are available now.

Did you dye Easter eggs today for the bunny to hide? I saw this hack on tiktok and thought there was a 50/50 chance it would work…could not be happier!!!
Onion and garlic skins on the eggs and then wrapped in a piece of stocking and boiled in blue food-dyed water. 🙌

Imagine soft, delectable brisket stuffed inside a potato cake with cheddar, slaw and pico de gallo. This masterpiece is a @qbarbequeaus specialty which operates out of @daintontaphousecarrumdowns
We did this a few weeks ago for my birthday and the Sunday vibe was fab. We also ordered a tasting platter, some corn ribs (IYKYK) and a paddle of home brews to enjoy while we kicked back listening to a guitar player strumming the tunes.
Afterward, we played a family game of pool which took fooorrrreeeeever, because we all suck, but we had a lot of fun.

Love getting to the beach for a dip in the bay and a dive into my current read - The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Finished! What’s next? The Housemaid or Local Woman Missing? 🤔
After a reading drought I’m back into it (thanks booktok) and have set a challenge of 15 books for the year. I’m four in already….perhaps I went too safe? What else should I add to my @goodreads ‘Want to Read’ list?
