The festive season brings holidays, family get-togethers, travelling, hot weather, parties and days at the beach. Add a baby to the mix and suddenly there’s a little more to think about!
We’ll share practical information and ideas for managing breastfeeding through an Australian summer and the holiday season. We’ll talk about breastfeeding in hot weather, keeping babies hydrated, feeding while travelling or away from home, navigating family gatherings and celebrations, and what you need to know about breastfeeding and alcohol.
And because Christmas sometimes comes with plenty of well-meaning opinions about feeding, sleep and babies, we’ll also talk about handling unwanted advice and protecting the choices that work for your family.
