Body Safety Superstars
During October Body Safety Australia will be delivering two Body Safety Superstars online workshops for the Mornington Peninsula community.
77% of parents and carers want support in abuse prevention strategies. Body Safety Australia is a not-for-profit organisation committed to partnering with families and communities to prevent childhood sexual abuse and to support children in enjoying healthy, respectful relationships now and in the future.
This online two-hour practical workshop empowers families with safety tools that can be used within the home, education settings and community.
Topics include:
- What is body safety and how can we support it at home?
- Identifying grooming behaviours online and offline
- Child sexual abuse: risks, myths and facts
- Q&A Forum with a Body Safety educator
Audience
All parents/caregivers, educators, community organisations and members are welcome to attend. However, please note this session is not appropriate for children.
