When the weather is freezing cold and raining or stinking hot, Kidz Shed Play Centre is the place to bunker down indoors.
We have worked incredibly hard to build Kidz Shed into a play centre that is affordable for families to love and enjoy. We’re passionate about what we do and we are dedicated to providing a fun, friendly, safe and clean environment for our customers.
We have various play areas for all ages ranging from 0 – 12 years. While parents can relax, children can enjoy our multi-level climbing play structure, 3 lane wave slide, spiral tunnel slide, ball pit, ride on’s and a fenced toddler soft play area. Our cafe offers a wide variety of food options, ranging from breakfast all day, burgers with the lot, to the most amazing pizza’s. Catering for allergies is our speciality – we have an extensive range of gluten free products available as well as vegetarian and dairy free. Oh and did we mention our coffee is pretty good too! We stock internationally renowned Lavazza coffee and also serve the very popular ‘Prana Chai’.
We pride ourselves on cleanliness, so we have hand sanitisers throughout the play centre and our play equipment is regularly cleaned and sanitised. Adults and Children are required to wear socks at all times. Kidz Shed is wheelchair friendly and we have baby changing facilities.

We are so lucky to have such a well run play centre with excellent coffee and food in Hastings.
‘Ben Aspland’ … We recently held a dual birthday for our two girls ages 6 and 8 at Kidz Shed Hastings. It was an after hours party on a Friday night (16:00 – 18:00) and we had the entire place to ourselves, just perfect for the 30+ kids and their parents.
The facility itself is really clean and well setup with everything you would expect from a new play centre. The food was awesome and the price per head was fantastic considering the quantity and quality of the food. The pizzas were amazing and the adult food options are plentiful. The venue hire price was extremely reasonable also and cheaper than Crocs or Chipmunks.
There was also the bonus of having the food prepared on site by the staff and no requirement to clean the place afterwards, as some other play centres make you do.
The kids devoured everything that was served up but we still had food left at the end of the night. We had catered for 30 but there were more than that eating, not to mention myself and some of the other adults enjoying the pizzas and party pies as well.
Aside from the fun the kids had, the parents were kept happy with the excellent quality coffee and grown up food. The staff took care of everything for us and ensured the eating area was constantly stocked with drinks and food as well as fresh cups and plates throughout the night.
The night was nothing short of spectacular and our girls had their best birthday celebration to date. Thank you everyone at Kidz Shed Hastings, we can’t recommend you highly enough.
‘Dayna Nicholas’ … My new fave hangout… and the kids love it too! Clean. Good coffee. Healthy food options. The place is big enough for the kids to enjoy, but small enough for me to not stress about losing them. And the equipment is actually big enough for parents to fit through without doing our backs. Well worth the short drive from Mornington – I know where I’ll be spending my winter days!

Can’t begin to explain how much we love coming here regularly, not only is the centre kept in great condition but the staff are AMAZING. Continuously making sure everything is spot on, the food is spot on, it tastes amazing and is made fresh to order.
