The stars of Lah-Lah’s Adventures will be live on stage and are set to perform around the country over the next six months. The award winning cast from the ABC KIDS TV series, Lah-Lah’s Adventures, are making their way to a city or town near you, on their biggest musical tour yet, and Lah-Lah’s Tina Harris couldn’t be more thrilled.
“My musical journey started when I went through the Conservatory in Sydney around 1993 and met my husband Mark who is a band leader as well. I went off to sing and work and toured with opera Australia for a few years, then Mark and I moved to Paris and I did coaching and all sorts of lovely things,” said Tina, who then ventured to Japan to teach English.
These days, Tina and Mark are parents to two girls, and their life has taken off in a fabulous direction with the evolution of their band, Lah-Lah.
“When my oldest daughter was four, I went back to work teaching music classes for 0 to 5 year olds and it quickly evolved into a wonderful business. Mark would come in and play the double bass and we would perform for the families at the end of every term. That’s how Lah-Lah was born. It was always about early childhood education and introducing children to musical instruments,” said Tina.
Lah-Lah will bring their unique brand of engaging performance and live music to families across the country and will also introduce children to the wonderful world of music and musical instruments.
Meet Mister Saxophone, Squeezy Sneezy the piano accordion, Tom Tom on drums, Buzz the Bandleader, Lola the Dancing Double Bass and the ever loveable Lah-Lah.
Delivering a catchy blend of jazz, pop, rock’n’roll and world music, the Lah-Lah band continues to engage children and families with their unique sound, on top of their passion for educating kids about music and musical instruments on our television screens.
Sing It Loud! is a spectacular, fun live show that will delight audiences and will have the whole family up singing and dancing to the fun filled sounds of Lah-Lah and the Big Live Band.
