What is the best park with BBQ and undercover area for a 6 year old in June – rain very possible?
Bicentennial Park Chelsea is awesome! But get there early to get table and BBQ – Stacey M

Balcombe Estuary is an awesome area in any weather. Plenty of cover and the open fire for warmth. – Tammi M

There’s a great park at the old Moorooduc Railway. Has undercover areas, BBQs & toilets. It’s just off Two Bays Rd / Moorooduc Hwy – Rebecca V
Balcombe Estuary. You can have a fire there too – Kylie V
Rye front beach just before Safeway or opposite Safeway in Rosebud (Boneo Rd) – Rose W
Dunns Road, Mornington & Chelsea (Bicentennial) – Julie-ann M
The Munya farm in Doveton/Dandenong is perfect. There are huge party rooms there and a huge playground, animals, barns, train rides etc. Great place. – Elle E

Also there’s the skate park on Dunns Rd Mornington. Kids can take their scooters / bikes / skateboards, there’s also playground, lake where you can feed the ducks, undercover BBQ & a small basketball court. – Rebecca V
