Little Learners Playgroup

At Toorak College, we believe in nurturing young learners so they can develop their sense of self and connection to others while exploring the world around them.

Our Little Learners Playgroup program is run on our Mount Eliza campus by our Director of Early Learning, Ms Dianna McKellar, and has been designed to meet the unique developmental needs of 2 and 3-year-old children.

Through a diverse and rich play-based program, children have the opportunity to explore all areas of the Early Years Learning Framework. In each class, children will participate in a range of developmental play provocations that spark their imagination, creativity and curiosity. They will then be supported through a fun activity which rotates between science experiments, dramatic play, music and movement, creative art, outdoor learning and community events. Playgroup offers children and their families one of their first and most important social networks and at the end of each class, we finish with group time and read stories or sing songs to encourage children to further engage with each other and their surroundings.

2024 Little Learners Playgroup

In 2024 we are delighted to offer families two classes a week.

Term 1 Classes:
Wednesday 9:30am – 10:30am
Friday 9:30am – 10:30am

Term 1 Dates:
Wednesday 7 February – Wednesday 20 March (6 weeks)
Friday 9 February – Friday 22 March (6 weeks)

Fees:
$180 per term for one session per week or $360 per term for two sessions per week. Each child will receive one complimentary Toorak College Polo Shirt.

Please note: To join our playgroup in Term 1, your child needs to be 2 years old on or before Wednesday 7 February 2024.
